He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he was named a Presidential Scholar. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Philosophy, graduating magna cum laude from Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa. His undergraduate achievements include various academic honors and induction into Theta Alpha Kappa, the national honor society for religious studies and theology.Pastor Strickler is a rostered minister with the American Association of Lutheran Churches (AALC), where he serves as Regional Missions Developer for the Greater Heartland Region.
