Who is Pastor Jamie Strickler and what makes him an authority on the demonic realm?
Pastor Jamie Strickler is currently working toward a Doctorate in Theology at Kairos University. He has taught seminars on the Devil and Demonic and served as a professor at the Institute of Lutheran Theology in Brookings, South Dakota. He has devoted his life to the study of demonic in the Patristic and Second Temple eras. His studies have been wrought with spiritual battle and demonic attacks. His calling is to help others recognize and navigate their own spiritual battles. He is a trained Exorcist and has performed countless house blessings and cleansings and has helped others break the bonds of Spiritual oppression.
Every month, Pastor Jamie will address a new question about demons and the demonic realm that many Christians have but may be hesitant to ask. He will provide scholarly, biblical and historical evidence for the existence of demons and help listeners and readers better grasp this terrifying, yet ever-prevalent presence in their lives.
Pastor Jamie lives in Colorado with his wife, Bree. He is the father of three children, Joseph, Ally, and Gabriella and two step-sons, Stephen and Shane. He is Assistant Football Coach for the Otis Bulldogs and serves as Pastor of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church.
He graduated with a Master of Divinity as a Presidential Scholar at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Philosophy from Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and received various academic honors including being inducted into Theta Alpha Kappa, a national honor society for religious studies.
He is rostered with the American Association of Lutheran Churches (AALC) and serves as the Regional Missions Developer for the Greater Heartland Region. He has had various articles published in "The Evangel," the AALC bi-monthly denominational magazine . He also serves on the Board of the Icelandic Church Plant for the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Norway.
Pastor Jamie has been a guest speaker for the AALC "Hold the Line" Conferences. He has spoken at various pastor's conferences and denominational gatherings and has served as featured speaker with the Gideons of Iowa. He has also served as the spiritual director for the Iowa Walk to Emmaus Weekend Retreat in addition to serving on former US Congressman Alex Mooney's Military Academy Review Board.
